Talk to Kim or Carey in the Rental Office about the various guided wine tours available. We have special arrangements with knowledgeable tour guides who will arrange transportation, tastings, and often a picnic lunch for a reasonable price. Kim and Carey can also provide local maps and tell you how to take a tour on your own. This is a fun way to spend an afternoon.

The Mockingbird is a unique restaurant and live music venue in historic downtown Staunton, Virginia.

Craftsmen have restored and renovated over 7,500 sq. feet of space to create a home for this new venture that features the bounty and rich traditions of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. The proprietor, Wade Luhn, brings to this endeavor many years of experience as an innkeeper and organic farmer, and more recently, micro-brewery manager and music promoter. His interests in hospitality, sustainable farming, and roots music have inspired the creation of Mockingbird. Essential to the Mockingbird concept is Luhn’s vision of an unpretentious gathering place where one can experience and enjoy authentic local food and traditionally-inspired acoustic music.
