Check Out Our Local Wineries Nelson Country is fast becoming a major national wine-growing area, with 5 award-winning wineries within 10 miles of Wintergreen. Talk to Kim in the Rental Office (434-325-7933) about the local wineries. There are knowledgeable tour guides who can arrange transportation, tastings, and often a picnic lunch for a reasonable price. Kim and Marcie can also provide local maps and tell you how to take a tour on your own. This is a fun way to spend an afternoon. |
